Last night a bunch of us go together for a bit of a ‘party’ for my birthday. Some new friends came too, so it was great getting to know everyone. Jas brought her funny older brother who had us in stiches with his hillarious way of expressing himself in English. The joy is, he know’s he making a fool of himself, but he just keeps going, keeping us entertained. Cancers, the life of a party!
Today the kids from ZG came to celebrate Jordan’s birthday with us. We celebrated today, because tomorrow is a ’school day’ and it would have been much harder to organize. I was in the kitchen for almost four hours, baking and decorating his cake, as well as making lunch–hot dogs, mini gurken, and all the condiments. I decorated 2 cakes into a farm scene, using his PlayMobile tractor, little farm animals, etc. I was surprised that it came out relatively good, considering I’m about -7 on the artistic scale. Anyway, it all got eaten quickly with ice cream, and then we dashed off to the thermal pool! Great fun! A friend of ours who owns a restaurant feed all 14 of us afterwards. He was so sweet, even getting the one-man-band to play a song for Jordan. He gave each of the kids a toy, we had cake as well.
I’m tired now. Tomorrow, we get to take the girls shopping for their present (and ours, too!) for Jordan. I wanted to wait and see what he’d get from the other kids, so we wouldn’t double up, heh. Yeah, keep coming up with excuses!

oh he turned 2 coolio…I can’t wait to get into the cake decorating with leona’s b-days too
